Open communication between parents and
teachers is essential. When parents and teachers work
together to share important information, children benefit;
therefore, we keep parents well informed about their
child’s progress on an ongoing basis. In addition,
we strive to keep parents informed so we may enlist
their help at home. Open communication allows parents
and teachers to collaborate and to plan goals for a
child based on needs. Realizing that parents and family
are the most important factors in a child’s life,
we have an “open door policy” and strive
to include parents in a variety of ways; parents are
free to visit the preschool anytime. Moreover, we encourage
parents to volunteer, to chaperone field trips, to join
our parent association, to donate materials, and to
attend special events. We communicate with parents,
guardians, and/or family members in a variety of ways.
The following is a list of our commonly used methods
of communication.
